Trick or Treat!

Lawn Fawn has some of THE cutest Halloween stamps around! These little costumed characters are no exception! These are from the just released ‘Costume Party’ set.

Take a look at the card I made using these little cuties:

I stamped, cut and coloured these little cuties and set them aside. I knew a bright watercolour background would go great with their fun costumes.

I started by painting an orange background on watercolour paper. Once that was dry, I splattered some dark purple paint on top. Some of the blobs were bigger than I had envisioned, but there are no mistakes in crafting!

I had the sparkly ‘Trick or treat’ in my stash from last year. I don’t remember exactly, but I think it was k&company that made it. Same as the bat and spider web.

I simply adhered those embellishments on the card front and used foam tape to make the trick or treaters pop a bit. That’s it! Super simple card!

*ugh. I had a bit of paint on my finger when I picked up the card, and touched the unicorns face ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Thanks for looking and be on the lookout for more Halloween crafts featuring these 2 costumed cuties!

  1. What fun! I love your little trick or treaters! (Have you ever tried a sand eraser or a dab of white gel pen on the pesky little stray color? I am very experienced in adding a design feature with stray ink on my hands or nails!)
