Children’s Gift Tags!

Since I’ve got 3 kids, all in school full time, we get tons of birthday invitations! I love sending them off to a birthday party with a cute card and gift that I know will make their friend smile.

I sat down at my craft table and decided to just do something fun. I needed to get this idea out of my head and onto paper. If it turned out, great, if not…oh well. I’d say it turned out pretty darn cute!

I pulled out Lawn Fawn’s ‘Science of Love’ stamp set as well as Your Next Stamp’s ‘Create a Character’. I stamped the beakers onto plain white cardstock and coloured them in. I fussy cut them, and adhered them to circles cut with the stitched circle dies.

*In hindsight, I should’ve stamped the arms and legs first, and then glued down the beakers. Live and learn!

I also cut out circles in plaid paper from a Lawn Fawn 6×6 pad, to help the colours pop. Take a closer look:

I added embellishments like glitter, glossy accents, and embossed the sentiments to make these tags a bit more interesting.

They were still looking a bit plain, believe it or not, so I dug out some tiny googly eyes and they really finished the tags off!

I can’t wait till the next birthday party my kids attend so I can attach one of these to the gift and really make them smile! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for looking and share below how you combine stamp sets!
