Sometimes, if I’m lucky, my photos can be trimmed down to fit on a 3×4 pocket page card, with room for embellishments. I like being able to put entire 4×6 photos in the albums too, but when I can, I cut out the unnecessary background.
On these 3×4 pocket cards, I used 2 photos and trimmed out the backgrounds, which were all white. Take a look:
You still get the idea that my daughter is in the snow, without a huge white background behind her. I love the close-up of the chilly, rosy cheeks too!
I used the Doodlebug Designs ‘Polar Pals’ collection for these cards. The arrow is the only thing I grabbed from my stash.
It’s such a fun collection, and (obviously!) works very well with snow photos.
